do you want to be just a tad bit more healthy, but are you lazy just like me? Worry not, I gotcha covered. In this article you'll find healthy habits that are easy to sustain and will make you feel a bit better every single day :)

  • Drink at least 2L of water every day

Water helps you clear up your skin and also helps your metabolism a little bit. Does regular water taste too boring for you?
Spice things up with fruits, veggies and herbs!
Tea is another great substitute for regular water!
A healthy habit to get yourself used to is to drink a cup of hot lemon water every single morning.

  • Move for at least one hour every day

Find an activity that you genuinely enjoy; cycle, walk, go on hikes, run, play a sport, take the stairs instead of the lift or escalator.

  • Follow a workout plan

If you want to take your activity levels up a notch, follow a workout plan. It's like you have a personal trainer, but usually you don't need to leave your house to go to the gym.
I follow Cassey Ho's (Blogilates) workout calendar, and it makes me feel a lot stronger and happier every day!

  • Join a team, workout class or sport club

Working out with other people motivates you more to actually show up and perform better. (Great for your social life too!)

  • Make sure you're getting enough sleep

Sleep is sooooo important! It helps with your mood, focus, weight, skin and overall health. Find out which times work best for you. Personally, I like to go to bed just before 11 PM and wake up around 7 AM. Be sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep.
(But don't stay in bed all morning/day either)

  • Make a playlist with happy songs

Being happy is so much better for your health than being angry, sad or stressed. Music is a great way to get yourself in a much better mood.

  • Love yourself

You'll see that the more appreciative and accepting you are of your body, the more it's gonna feel good and grow. This is not easy, I know, but stop beating yourself up. Think about your own body like you would think about a friend's body. You would never tell your friend that they're worthless and ugly just cause of a fat roll. LOVE YOURSELF, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Stop comparing

Stop comparing your progress to that of others online. You do you. Everybody's body is different, and that's a good thing. Can you imagine how boring it'd be if everyone just looked the same? Everyone was a beginner at one point, no matter how experienced they look now. Take it slow and appreciate every step along the way. (And maybe even more importantly: just have fun!)
