So many books, so little time.

Books are a girl's best friend. They're the perfect escape from reality and they allow ourselves to get lost in these amazing worlds created by people not so different from us. Some books take time to read while others are easy to go through, but one of my favourite things are book series. You have all the time in the world to read, you form and bond with the characters and relate to them on different levels. Sagas give you the time that you need to empathise with the story and to get involved in it. So here's a list of my must-read sagas of 2018.

1. The Evernight Series by Claudia Gray

So this is the book series that introduced me into the world of everlasting characters and vampire mayhem. I grew up reading this books and I hope this year I get enough time to reconnect with them.

2. Malice by Chris Wooding

This book gave me nightmares when I was kid, it was so good and so well written that I got myself completely involved in it. It's a sci-fi duology that interpels comic panels with text and it's really easy to get involved in the story. It's a great book for beginners who are looking into reading books with more volume but can't really stay focused long enough.

3. Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Caraval is such a pretty book. Its a book where you're introduced into a fantasy world without a proper introduction; there are no explanations and no significan character developpement, you're just led through the story with stunning descriptions and hope for everything to make sense along the way.
The second book of this series will be published in this 2018, so hurry up if you want to catch up.

4. Strange the dreamer by Laini Taylor

This book will make you remember exactly why you fell in love with reading in the first place. It will warm your heart and make you feel welcome to a point where you'll ask yourself if this is your perfect book. The way this books is written can be felt in every sentence, as they flow beautifuly together in order to make this masterpiece.

5. A court of thorns and roses, by Sarah J. Maas

This book has probably already been read by most people, but truth is it took me a long while to read it and finally remove it from my TBR pile. It's basically a very detailed retelling of the Beauty and the Beast, the romance that appears in this book is targeted towards a more mature audience and it shows, not because of the content, but because of how the feelings are exposed and presented by the author.

6. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

If you haven't read this saga yet, then I encourage you to do it as soon as possible. You might think that you don't need it, because of the movies or whatever, but truth is, there are so many things that happen in the books that you can't even being to imagine. So many interactions between characters, entire scenarios that were erased from the movie, characters that you probably never even heard of... you need to read this saga.

So... that's it. Reading has become one of my favourite hobbies, whether you read a book or with a device, it shouldn't matter as long as you're having fun and enjoying yourself.
