day twenty-one: what three lessons do you want your children to learn from you??

1. Kindness never goes out of season. I am such a pusher of people being kind. I want them to see, that kindness, is something that everyone deserves to receive. Regardless of their social status, background, language, education. We all know of a time when people were not so nice to us. So let's all be kind not because we have to but because we want to.

2. Believe in yourself. This is something that took some time to learn how to do. It's such a crucial lesson to learn. The earlier you learn it, the better. Believe in yourself, because you know that you deserve better. Believe in yourself because there are people out there that don't want you to succeed. Believe in yourself, because you are capable of so much more.

3. Stop caring too much what the people think of you. I got so caught up in what people thought of me, that it crippled me. I couldn't even go out with why friends without being in my head, comparing myself to the nest person. So I would definitely hope to teach my kids the lesson, that comparison, is not healthy. We are not made to run someone else's race. We need to stay in our lane, and encourage the person to our left and right.
