Hey everyone!

It's almost the end of 2017, crazy right? This year went so fast, I can't even believe it. So I thought it was time to write an article about my favourite songs and albums from this year.

It's going to be quite a long article I think, so if you want to discover some new music: prepare yourself and grab a cup of tea!

I have quite some albums I absolutely loved this year. I'm not going to list them all, but I'm going to list my favourites (which is still a lot). These are not in order of best liked to least or something.

1. Melodrama - Lorde
This album is just amazing. I even saw her live on tour this year because I finally could go. I've been a fan of her since her first album 'Pure Heroine', which I recommend to you as well. Melodrama is truly a piece of art which I'll always love.

2. How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful - Florence + the Machine
This one has been one of my favourites for over 2 years. It's not your common pop-album. It has this really unique style, just like Florence. You either hate it or love it, and in my case: I love it.

3. Dangerous Woman - Ariana Grande
Ariana has been one of my favourite artists since the beginning. Her voice is so powerful and her songs are just amazing. My favourite album of hers is this one, it helped me so much this year. It'll always be one of my favs.

4. Divide - Ed Sheeran
According to spotify, Ed Sheeran is my most listened artist this year. I'm so glad he's back and brought out this beautiful album. I must say, I liked X better but this one is also beautiful. Some songs on this album really helped my through this year and situations and will always be thankful for this album. I feel so lucky I got to see him this year in Amsterdam.

5. 1989 - Taylor Swift
Yes, I'm well aware that this isn't her new album that came out in november. I like Reputation, but prefer 1989. This album has been my favourite since it came out and went to see Taylor on her 1989 tour. Reputation has a whole different feel to it and I don't dislike it, but I just love 1989 more.

6. Landmark - Hippo Campus
I don't just listen to all those 'mainstream, popular artists' (the only big ones I listen to are Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande). This one is from a band that almost nobody has heard of. If you're one of those, you're missing out. This album is great and I just discovered the band early this year. I've been playing this album all summer and it has amazing songs on it.

7. American Teen - Khalid
I've never heard of Khalid until the mid-August. I found out that he was the opening act of Lorde and started listening to him and me and my friends instantly fell in love with his music. He himself is also a loving, humble person and seeing him live was an amazing experience. This album is just so excellent, you can tell he put his heart and soul into the songs.

8. Cybersex - blackbear
This album just came out in November, but I love it. You either love or hate Blackbear's music. I really love it so that's why it's on here of course.

9. Ultralife - Oh Wonder
I can't explain my love for this album. I've been there with them since the beginning and I'm so proud of this album. I been to both their Amsterdam shows in december, and I felt so happy during the show. I also recommend their first album!

10. Harry Styles - Harry Styles
I've never been a fan of One Direction and I only like Harry's music now. His songs are really great and I definitely recommend this album!
