Last week I bought this poetry collection book 'milk and honey' and it was honestly the best decision ever. (almost) every poem is so beautiful.
The book is divided into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose. Deals with a different pain. Heals a different heartache.

This is what Rupi Kaur says about it herself:

"This is the journey of
surviving through poetry
this is the blood sweat tears
of twenty-one years
this is my heart
in your hands
this is
the hurting
the loving
the breaking
the healing"

I want to share a few of my favorite quotes of this book. They inspired me and I hope they will inspire you too.

"if I knew what
safety looked like
I would have spent
less time falling into
arms that were not"

"I do not want to have you
to fill the empty parts of me
I want to be full on my own
I want to be so complete
I could light a whole city
and then
I want to have you
cause the two of us combined
could set it on fire"

"I am a museum full of art
but you had your eyes shut"

"the thing
worth holding on to
would not have let go"

"people go
but how
they left
always stays"

"you must enter a relationship
with yourself
before anyone else"

"we are all born
so beautiful
the greatest tragedy is
being convinced we are not"

For more quotes: Rupi Kaur posts most of them on her instagram!! (thankyou verrrry much Rupi)
