Inspiring Image on We Heart It

Welcome to my first article!
I had seen a lot of articles talking about how to enjoy a cute and cozzy christmas, but for half of the world, christmas is in summer, our december doesn’t mean hot cocoa, coffes, snow or cozzy clothes by a fire, it actually means smoothies, ice cream, pool and swimsuites. I wasn’t able to feel the "Christmas Spirit" or to do any DIY or hot chocolate recipe that i rea don the articles. So, if yo live in the southern hemisphere keep on reading.

It could been easier! You will only had to bake a regular american cookie recipe, then take two cookies and ad done ice cream scoop in middle of it, for a christmas look you can add green and red food colouring to the cookie mix, or green and reds m&m to the mix, or maybe sprinkle the ice cream! Here is the cookie recipe, you will need to buy the ice cream.

American Cookie recipe:

250g all-purpose flour
2g baking soda
170g unsalted butter, melted
220g packed brown sugar
100g white sugar
15ml vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
335g chocolate chips
Pinch of salt

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Sift the flour and baking soda into a bowl, then add the salt and set aside.
In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar thoroughly. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Then mix in the reserved sifted ingredients until mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon.
Pour 1/4 of the cookie dough at a time onto the prepared greased sheets. The cookies should be about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Anyone will resist to them!

Easy and tasty! It’s just chantilly cream with strawberrys, this will never fail as a dessert, everyone will love it and its perfect for hot weather!

Chantilly Cream Recipe:
cup heavy whipping cream, chilled

2 tablespoons powdered sugar (icing sugar)

1⁄2 teaspoon real vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients.
Using a hand whisk (balloon whisk) or electric whisk, beat the cream in a stainless steel or glass or china bowl (not plastic- doesn't seem to whip as well).
It is whipped properly when it is still soft and billowy but holds its shape when the whisk is withdrawn.
Once the cream is whipped, cover and store in the fridge.
If it separates slightly, just rewhip to restore its thickness.
