i always loved writing, but I stopped a few years ago for no particular reason. Now that I'm struggling with mental health issues again, I decided to do the 30 day writing challenge. Maybe it'll bring me back my passion and help me getting through this difficult time.

DAY 1: List 10 things that make you really happy

1. being alone: it may sound strange that this is my top 1, but I really enjoy and need my alone time. Being around other people is awesome, but exhausting and after a few hours I need time for myself to recharge. I'm not even doing something special. Most of the time I'm just watching videos on youtube, but it's great.

2. my friends and my familiy: Sometimes it's hits me right in face how wonderful the people around me are and how grateful I am to have them in my life and I feel like I don't deserve them and don't appreciate them enough and I don't know, it can get pretty overwhelming.

3. food: 80% of my daily thinking revolves around food and when and what I am going to eat next.

4. my cats: I just fucking love cats. I love their cute little faces and their soft fur and one of the best things in this world is lying in bed reading with a purring cat on your lap.

5. reading: To get lost in a book and being able to forget your own problems for a while and relating to a character so much that you wish you could crawl into the book and join him.

6. crafting: I enjoy creating things with my own hands and just letting my creativity flow into the process.

7. watching movies: Especially in the cinema. I always feel lively after it. Like the world is full of possibilities and adventures are waiting just behind the next corner.

8. the stars and the moon: I placed my bed right under the dormer window so I could look at the stars while lying in bed. It calms me down knowing that I'm just a tiny pixel in the whole universe and my problems are so small in comparison to its extent.

9. doing good things: I believe that the purpose of (my) life is to make the world a little bit better. So I try to be a good person and do good things for others.

10. expressing myself: whether through clothes or my room or the things that I say. I like to express myself and my personality and I also like people who do so.
