We all feel bad around our time of the month. To help you through your time of the month here are my top tips on not feeling all too bad around your period.

1. Do not concentrate on how you look

Whenever I am around my time of the month the first thing I do is look myself in the mirror and criticise myself. You are your biggest critic. My tip is to not look at yourself too much during your period because of all the hormones and all the bloating. Trust me, no one around you will notice the difference that you do.

2. Wear comfortable clothes

This goes together with bloating around your period. Wear what is comfortable to you, preferably clothes that are not too tight or too loose. The tight clothes will make you feel too big and the clothes that are too loose will make it too obvious that you are trying to hide something.

3. Sleep

Sleeping is always important, but especially now because your body is going though a lot internally. We are usually more tired during this time of the month, especially during the colder months.

4. Keep yourself warm

When the craps come there is nothing you want to do more than just lay down and cry. A big hack and a thing that you need to know is that you should keep yourself warm, especially your torso area. This helps so much when it feels like you are not able to move because of how much it hurts.

5. Take care of yourself

The most important tip I can give you is to take care of yourself. Do not push yourself down or hate what you see because deep down you know that it is just the hormones talking. Eat healthy, take that one piece of chocolate and turn on Netflix because you are worth it.
