it is easy to see how everyone seems to do great in life. but I'll tell you one thing, often it is a facade. social media are making it easier and easier to lie to others (and yourself!!) about how great you're doing. so if you're feeling down, useless och just want some inspiration I am here to help! here you'll get ... tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your daily life and yourself.

1. smile
this might be the easiest and hardest thing to do. when you are feeling really down, smiling probably won't be the first thing that comes to mind. and it shouldn't be either, sometimes you just need to cry out.
but on the other hand, when you are frowning you are telling your brain that you are in a bad mood. it works the same way with smiling. so when you are smiling you are at the same time telling your brain that you are happy. so for god's sake, try to smile as often as possible. :))

2. prioritize yourself
to be able to help others you need to help yourself first. this has been the absolute hardest thing for me to do. I am currently struggling with the problem that I am not giving myself time to do the necessary things in your daily life. things as simple as just cooling down after a long day of school/work. just remember that even though you are the nicest person ever who loves helping others. you need to help and take care of yourself too. and I can promise you one thing, YOU ARE WORTH IT!

3. try to see the small things
it probably sounds harder than it really is. from personal experience, it is harder to make it a habit than it is doing it. when I am on the tube in the morning I have this part when the train is going on a bridge over a lake. to see the water and the sunrise combined is beautiful. and just seeing that and people's faces in the light is beautiful. this is such a simple thing that i find so much joy in.
find your small thing

4. make one (or more!!) feel good-playlists
this tip is explaining itself. just make some playlist with the songs you love, and just listen to it whenever. according to studies, music is a great way to calm down. and it also has a ton of health benefits, such as making you feel less lonely and it lowers the stress hormone, cortisol.

5. find your own way
every person is unique, and so is our ways. try, try and try to find what makes you happy. because you are the most important in your life.

6. embrace yourself
this is the most important tips I have got for you. the only person that you are stuck with forever is yourself, why don't learn to love that person? I know that some days are easier than other's, but you have to learn to accept it. for me, it took a while. But now I absolutely love myself. and when the bad days are hitting you in the face. just remember that you are you, and you are beautiful...!
