One day you'll wake up at 11:30am on a Sunday morning with the love of your life and you'll make some pancakes and coffee and it'll all be alright.

Good Morning! Today's Channel Challenge is on Empowerment! I chose to talk about this channel because everyone needs a bit of the empowerment kick! So let's start our day off right, getting to know our worth and realizing that we are awesome individuals!

Here's a list of things you can do to empower yourself:

1. Lather Yourself in Affirmations

Affirmations were so not my thing a month ago. When I tried it and started believing it, I saw everything I ever wanted in my life being checked on my list one at a time! Remind yourself of who you are, your strengths, your abilities, what you want and your worth.

2. Be consistent

Love yourself everyday, all day. Recite your affirmations everyday, all day, at least once a day.

3. Wear-apy

I learnt this from Jeannie Mai. If you're ever feeling down, get up, get dressed and put on a red lip. Why? Because when you look good, you feel good! Hence the wear-apy, therapy!

4. Speak healing to yourself

Be aware of your thoughts and force yourself to think positive! Speak healing to yourself. If you're bringing yourself down or thinking of your sucky past, stop yourself in the act! Remind yourself that you have so much more to be grateful for!

5. Know your worth
Loving yourself does not mean you're egotistical. There's a huge difference. If someone is treating you badly, you have every right to say no and put a stop to it. Learn to know your worth and who deserves to stay in your life and who doesn't.

6. Stop comparing
I tell myself all the time, "My differences are my biggest advantage."

7. Love yourself
Like your the only you in the world, because you are.

8. Let things go
What happened today won't matter in a few years. Who hurt you yesterday won't matter in a few months. The person you were before, doesn't matter. Let it go.
