Ciao, hearters.

First of all, I want to thank you for the incredible respond after my first article. It really means a lot for me and see how much you liked it made me very proud. Second of all, if you want to follow me on instagram, here I am: @isheaven

Let's start with the article.
So, as some of you know, I live in Florence, Italy and as italians we have some habits, excpecially on Sunday, that you'll probably find weird or very very italian. 😂

morning

nah, you're not going to read anything like waking up at 9:00 am because, trust me, italian guys waking up very very late on Sunday.

Italian guys waking up around 11:30 am on Sunday. No, I'm not kidding but trust me there's a valid explanation. On Saturday night italian guys usually go to pubs or nightclubs at 11:30 pm and they come back at 4:00 am, so that's why they wake up late in morning.

breakfast

okay, but let's be honest, who would like to have breakfast after a hangover?

yes, coffee and shower always a good combination.

lunch

i don't think y'all are ready for this anyway. If you are italian and is Sunday, that means only one thing: Nonna lunch! Trust me, it's a big deal for us.

Ok, if you have in your family an italian grandmother you probably know what i'm talking about. The Sunday lunch is not just a lunch, is like Christmas came without you knowing it. Yes, I don't know about you, but my Nonna cooks everything she can. Antipasto, first course, second course, fruits, desserts, drink after a meal and coffee. Then you can throw the weight scale out of the window.

Oh, sorry I forgot to say that lunch usually start at 13:00 pm and ends at 15:30 pm

afternoon

there are two ways italian guys spend their Sunday's afternoon:

  • work
McDonalds, food, and mccafe image grunge, aesthetic, and neon image music, record, and grunge image girl, cinema, and popcorn image
italian students usually prefer to work in the week-end. fast food, cinemas, supermarket or shop, doesn't matter what. job is job.
  • family
fire, winter, and cozy image couple, netflix, and love image book, coffee, and autumn image game, vintage, and scrabble image
if it's too cold outside, we like to chill out in front of the fireplace telling jokes or old memories from grandparents. We like also watching movies all together, or playing board games. Even read a book and drink tea is a good idea.

dinner

We eat dinner around 7:00 pm because north and center italians eat early, but if you go in the south part of Italy, they eat at 9:00/ 10:00 pm.

If you're lucky and you have came back at your home, you won't eat anything or at least not a meal. But if you're staying at your grandma home ... I'm so sorry for you, I love you. Just ... RIP to your stomach.

Nonna I love you so much. ♡

night

  • home
accessories, body, and facial image bath, book, and flowers image
I'm more like a home night person on Sunday because the next day I have to wake up at 6:00 am for University. So, I usually do my skin care routine and read a book before falling asleep.
  • friends
drink, cocktail, and party image pizza, food, and friends image Image by charlinedbs couple, love, and boy image
Sometimes, when I'm not too tired I like to spend time with my friends going to a pub or eating pizza (only if i wasn't at my grandma house). Drinking coffee at bars or even just a cola could be a great excuse to pass time with friends.
  • love

I'm single, but we also spend the night with the person we love.

I finally came to the end of this article. I want to point out that the content is based on stereotypes and that obviously there are exceptions, not all Italians spend the same Sunday in the same way.
I hope you had fun and made you smile.

PS: Some of you have told me they want to learn Italian, and I was thinking about writing some articles about this. Let me know what you think.
