HOW TO HAVE HEALTHY HAIR + HABITS

anyways, here are a few tips for all of you who have a hard time with your hair (cough cough me). in this article, you can find healthy habits and routines to maintain the luscious locks everyone wants!

SWITCH UP YOUR WASHING ROUTINE
wash your hair every day? this dries it out and gives you oily hair. stripping your hair from its oils makes it worse, so you'd want to not wash your hair all the time!
- wash it three or four times a week. it may look oily at first, but it gets better after a week!
- rinse off your hair at the end of your shower when conditioning with colder water. hot water can lead to split ends.

USE HEAT DEVICES LESS
put away flat irons, blow dryers, and curlers - unless it's a special occasion. heat can damage your hair, so it is always best to avoid these tools.
- make sure to use a heat protection spray or serum before styling if you do use one of these devices.

TRIM YOUR HAIR EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE
you should get a trim every 6-8 weeks, so your hair doesn't get split ends. your hair will be less likely to break and would look all the better!
- if your hair hasn't been growing, I would trim it, because it could be the split ends!

BRUSHING TECHNIQUE
when brushing your hair, you should first brush out the ends and removing tangles. then, comb like normal and to the end. avoid plastic bristles because of breakage caused by static electricity.
- this technique helps proper spreading of natural hair oil and thus prevents breakage in general!! (:
