Ingredients: 2 large eggs,1 cup of low fat or whole milk, 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, 4(1 inch thick) slices of challah or French bread (or whole wheat bread), 1 table spoon of unsalted butter, and any fruit, syrup,or confectioners sugar you want to put on top.

Tools: a large baking dish, measuring cups and spoons, a whisk or fork, a cutting board and serrated knife if your bread isn't already presliced, a large skillet (aka a cooking pan),and a spatula.

Step one: crack the eggs into the large baking dish. Then add the milk, vanilla, cinnamon and then whisk it together. then slice four slices one inch thick if you haven't already. Then place the bread into the egg mixture and let them soak for one minute then flip and let them soak for another minute.

step 2: Place the skillet on medium then add the butter and have the butter melt to coat the bottom of the pan. Then have the excess egg mixture drip off each slice of bread. Then cook the bread on one side for 2 to 3 minutes or until it is golden brown. Then carefully flip to the other side and then cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Then enjoy.

This recipe is not mine it is from Jessica Seinfeld's The Can't cook book. I love to cook and this is one of my many favorite recipes.
