It’s easy to feel motivated and inspired at the beginning of a new goal: we start new diets on Mondays, or begin new years’ resolutions on January 1st, and things go smoothly for a few days. Sadly, motivation is temporary. And those big goals you have set might fade away. Below I have pointed few tips to keep you going when you don't feel like so.

1. SET FEWER GOALS. Every goal demands efford, hard work and consistency. And tackling more than two or three at a time is beyond most of us. Rather than trying to change everything overnight, focus on just a couple of key goals. Achieving one goal at a time will motivate you not to give up.

2. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS. When the goals are big it takes a lot of time and sometimes you don't feel like you're making much progress. Looking back to where you were a few months ago often will surprise you how long you have come.

3. ASK YOURSELF WHY. In many cases, people give up on their goals just because they haven't set a clear reason why they are doing it. Grab a notebook and answer the question- Why did you start? Why are you doing this? Why do you want to get in shape?. Be honest with yourself about why you want to improve.Once you put it down on paper it becomes real.

4. CELEBRATE SMALL PROGRESS. Whether you have lost a few pounds, or hit a new personal record for running, progress is still progress. And the best way to keep yourself going this way is to celebrate. This way will encourage more success, so revel in your achievements.

Rememeber, what you do today will either put you closer to your goal or distance you even more.
