She hides her feelings under

a cold expression,

She tries to be happy but

she knows happiness is only temporary.

It fades away.

In shades of grays and blacks she hides,

not because she’s sad or depressed

but because that’s all she has to show.

She looks in the mirror and asks

“Will I ever be able to smile?”

There’s no hope she already knows

the answer is no.

“What’s the point,” she asks

“We’re going to die anyways.”

A blank expression lays upon her fragile face,

what once was a

beautiful mind is now nothing but a faint memory of hope.

She sighs “Nothings lasts forever but

right now this pain feels like eternity.”
