Hello guys! If you're addicted to books like me, you probably can read very fast and you don't put a good book down until you're done reading it, right? Or even if you're not such a fast reader, the books below are short and so good you'll be able to finish it in a day.
PS: List includes books' synopsis and my opinion.

The Little Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

With a timeless charm, this French classic tells the story of a little boy who leaves the safety of his own tiny planet to travel the universe, learning the vagaries of adult behaviour through a series of extraordinary encounters. His personal odyssey culminates in a voyage to Earth and further adventures.

The Little Prince is a story so touching, meaningful and beautiful that I promise your heart will be a little warmer after you finish it :)

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (C.S. Lewis)

narnia, snow, and winter image
Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor's mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever.

The first book of the Chronicles of Narnia (publication order) is an enchanting tale of adventure that you won't be able to put down. God knows I've finished it in one sitting!

Everything, Everything (Nicola Yoon)

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla. But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly. Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

This book is so cute and it ends so fast! Filled with little notes, doodles, e-mails, drawings, poems, aside from the writing itself, you'll go through this book like it's a delicious bundt cake ;)

Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll)

book, alice, and alice in wonderland image
A little girl falls down a rabbit hole and discovers a world of nonsensical and amusing characters. She will travel through this Wonderland looking for the White Rabbit she followed into the hole, but there are many surprises waiting for her.

Alice lives the adventure of a lifetime with some of the most interesting characters ever created. You'll follow her along the way.

A Walk To Remember (Nicholas Sparks)

love, A Walk to Remember, and hope image
Every April, Landon Carter remembers 1958, his last year at Beaufort High. Landon had dated a girl or two, and even once sworn that he'd been in love. Certainly the last person he thought he'd fall for was Jamie, the shy, almost ethereal daughter of the town's Baptist minister... Jamie, who was destined to show him the depths of the human heart and the joy and pain of living.

Beautiful and heartbreaking. A book that makes you believe in the power of love and the importance of living life to the fullest. And it's incredibly short. Ideal for a cozy rainy afternoon at home.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (John Boyne)

movie, boy, and sad image
Berlin 1942 - Bruno's family must move from their home to a new house far far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. A tall fence running alongside stretches as far as the eye can see and cuts him off from the strange people he can see in the distance. But while exploring his new environment, Brunoe meets another boy whose life and circumstances are very different to his own, and their meeting results in a friendship that has devastating consequences.

Another heartbreaking book. But I swear it's worth it. Seeing the horrors of the Holocaust through the eyes of a 9-year-old boy is a totally new experience and it makes even clearer how absurd the whole thing was. It won't take you long to read it, but this story will stay forever in your heart.

The Giver (Lois Lowry)

Twelve-year-old Jonas lives in a seemingly ideal world. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver does he begin to understand the dark secrets behind this fragile community.

Fans of dystopias, here it goes! Lois Lowry created the perfect equal, black-and-white world. Nobody feels pain, but nobody really feels joy either. What's going to happen to the one person who's able to experience all these emotions? A book short enough to make you want more - and there is more. The Giver is the first of a series of four books, all equally exciting.

Milk and Honey (Rupi Kaur)

aesthetic, book, and grunge image
milk and honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. It is about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. It is split into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose, deals with a different pain, heals a different heartache. milk and honey takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look.

To finish this list, how about some poetry? This book will make you think and feel so much, it's like a roller coaster within pages. Especially if you're a girl, this book will touch your very core.
