René Descartes described the pineal gland as "the principal seat of the soul". You may have already heard of this gland as the third eye.

It is a small endocrine gland in the shape of a pine cone that is located in the center of the brain at the same level as the eyes. While the brain is composed of a right hemisphere and a left hemisphere and it is perfectly symmetrical, this unique gland is unique. The third eye would allow people to transcend the material dimension in order to have access to higher levels of consciousness. The pineal gland really looks like an eye; it has the same shape and the same tissues. It has a retinal tissue composed of photoreceptors exactly like the eyes and it is connected to the visual cortex of the brain. She even has a vitreous body like the eye. In our body, each element has a very specific function.

It would allow us, in functioning properly, to fully live our spiritual development, vibrate at higher frequencies. Meditation would then become much deeper. Several studies have shown that the pineal gland tends to calcify in modern societies and stop functioning properly.
This phenomenon is due, among other things, to the fact that fluorides accumulate in the pineal gland more than in any other gland and lead to the formation of phosphate crystals. So it is important to get to know and master your mind so that you can positively influence it towards the direction we want to go.

During meditation, one seeks to relax the mind by focusing our attention and our conscience on inner calm. In this state, we allow ourselves to stop the flow of our thoughts and our concerns and to be simply at peace the time that lasts for meditation. The objective of the person meditating is not to pay attention to thoughts that arise, but to look at them without identifying with them.
By progressing in meditation, the mind acquires more and more inner calm, the tension due to the excessive amount of thoughts is reduced and the pineal gland can then function with more energy and be more receptive.

4. Fasting

It would seem that the practice of fasting is one of the best ways to increase mental clarity and rejuvenate the brain, body and spirit. The digestive system is constantly bombarded with foods that we eat throughout the day and so it is still in operation, recovering on foods to eliminate and new to digest. In this state of constant digestion, our body does not have the opportunity to rest and detoxify as it should.

When we fast, we take away an enormous weight on our body which can then release enormous amounts of energy. As the body is no longer busy removing new toxins, it can then eliminate those that have accumulated in the body. During a fast, the body will eliminate everything that is not necessary for its functioning. The greatest benefit to the brain when practicing fasting is the detoxification that occurs during this period.

5. Eat foods that have an alkaline effect

There are two types of foods: those that have an alkaline effect on the body and those that have an acidic effect. Our body has a natural pH that is between 7.35 and 7.45. A too acidic pH in the blood causes an imbalance, a discomfort and, among other things, calcifies the pineal gland. Whenever we eat a food that causes a very acidic pH, our body is forced to balance using minerals present in our body to eliminate that acidity. It would seem that a higher level of spiritual growth through a complete decalcification of the pineal gland can be achieved by eating foods that result in alkaline pH. When we eat more alkalizing foods, we begin to increase our intuition, our psychic abilities, our dreams, our calm, our inner peace, our happiness, our creativity and our energy level in general.
