[Post from my personal blog destinylarge.wordpress.com]

Hey, everyone! It's officially Fall, my favorite season! I'm trying to ignore the fact that it was almost 90 degrees outside here in Tennessee the past few days. A lot of people love the warm weather and summer, but I'm over here dying and wishing I could wear sweaters, scarves, and boots. But, since it is officially Fall, I'm hoping these crazy high temperatures will go away soon and I can get on with enjoying my favorite time of the year. With that being said, I am happy to share my 2017 Fall Bucket List with you! Maybe you'll get some inspiration from my list and find a new way to enjoy the season! Have fun reading, and let me know what you like to do during this lovely season!

Wear Cozy, Fall Clothing

aesthetic shoes

I love fall fashion. During the summer, I can never wear what I really want because it's so hot. I'm most comfortable in skinny jeans or leggings, sweaters or flannels, and my favorite pair of combat boots. Wearing cozy clothes is a must for every year.

Decorate the House for Halloween

So, I may have already done this. (What? It's never too early!) But, turning your house into a haunt is always fun for me.

Take a Walk and Enjoy the Weather

There's nothing like the sound of leaves crunching under your feet. Take a walk, maybe through the woods, and enjoy the scenery and cool weather. This will give you the perfect opportunity to relax, appreciate nature, and, of course, snap a few photos.

Jump into a Pile of Leaves

This may seem a little silly to some, but it's just a fun little thing to do. I see it as a way to go back to when you were a kid with little to no problems. Go on. Jump in.

Go Through a Corn Maze

Superthumb Superthumb

I went through a corn maze for the first time last year during a class social, and I had so much fun! So, of course, I would love to do it again, this year. Maybe even a haunted one...

Visit a Haunted Attraction

My family and I have Ultimate Fun Passes to Ripley's Pigeon Forge attractions here in Tennessee, so I'm looking forward to visiting Ripley's Haunted Adventure. I've never been through a haunted attraction before, so I'm excited to have the bejesus scared out of me.

Have a Bonfire

One of my favorite things in the entire world is sitting around a fire on a cold night, listening to nothing but the crackling wood and feeling so relaxed. We will definitely be having many fires this year, as we always do. To make it even better, add in some s'mores and ghost stories!

Carve or Decorate a Pumpkin

You can't really have Fall without pumpkins. They're everywhere, and I love them. I'm also pretty crafty and artistic, so I love to decorate things. I would love to decorate some pumpkins for our front yard, and of course, I'll be carving some Jack-o-Lanterns to light up on Halloween night.

Have a Horror/Halloween Movie Marathon

If you don't already know, I LOVE horror movies. Don't ask why because I don't honestly know. I just have so much fun watching them. Spend a night cuddled up in bed with some snacks and watch your favorite spooky flicks. Check out my Must-Watch Halloween Movies article for ideas: http://weheartit.com/articles/296899927-24-must-watch-halloween-movies

Visit Local Halloween Stores

Halloween stores are popping up all over the place here in Tennessee, and I cannot wait to visit all of them! They only come around once a year, so it's a must-do thing on my list!

Enjoy a Seasonal Beverage

Hot chocolate, apple cider, and, of course, pumpkin spice lattes are iconic fall drinks that nearly everyone loves. (I've already had two of the three.) As it starts to get cooler, I will be sharing my original homemade hot chocolate recipe with you all, as well as a newer recipe I discovered last year that became an instant favorite: caramel apple cider floats! Again, stay tuned!

Make Your Favorite Fall Treats and Try Some New Ones

My mom and I love to bake, so we're pretty much in the kitchen 24/7 during the holidays. We have several family-favorite recipes that end up on the table every single year. I also came across a few new recipes over the summer that I would love to try this year! Get together with some friends or family and bake, bake, bake!

Stock Up on Fall-Themed Products (Candles, Lotions, Snacks, etc.)

I just turned 16 over the summer, and I've been desperately trying to get a job just so I could do this. I have an obsession with seasonal products (especially $1 fall candles from dollar stores!). I also love Halloween candy and snacks way too much and feel like I have to try them all because they're only available once a year.

Go Apple Picking

I've never done this, and I would love too! I just think it would be fun, and it seems to be a traditional fall activity.

Read a Book

I love to read, but I have trouble finding the motivation to actually do it. But, I know there will probably be some rainy, cold days where it'll be perfect to cuddle up with a hot drink and read, so I would love to finish a book or two (or three...).

Well, there you are!

If I think of any other things I'd like to do this Fall, I will update my list, but I think this is a good start! Let me know what you plan to do this year, and if my list inspired you in any way!
