I hope you will like my recommendations.

Reading is a conversation. All books talk. But a good book listens as well.

Charles Bukowski "Pulp"

From the bottom of my heart I would like to recommend you this book. Despite the simple style and vulgar language the novel exerts a lot of emotion. His work captures the sensitivity and deep understanding of human nature. In "Pulp" despite knowing the standpoint of the main character, we adopt his way of looking at the world, which makes the novel even more unique.

Well, the rain had stopped but the pain was still there.

Sue Monk Kidd "The Secret Life of Bees"

The title of "The Secret Life of Bees" is mysterious, sleepy and incredibly dreamy. The reference to bees introduces the story of Lily into another enigmatic dimension. It is a very subtle story, full of secrets and magic; sweet and sticky like honey. It's a story about childhood and adolescence, a story about motherhood and a complicated life that does not always allow everything we plan and dream about. It is also an important position in terms of social inequality and huge parallel for modern perception of racism and intolerance. I recommend it to anyone.

Someone who thinks death is the scariest thing doesn't know a thing about life.

Colleen Hoover "Confess"

Although the author's books are aimed at younger readers, they have an unbelievable dose of wisdom and adulthood.
She has been through a lot at a very young age. He is a painter who collects anonymous confessions and shows them on canvas. Auburn finds a job offer just when Owen is looking for an assistant. This coincidence triggers an avalanche of events and raises the feelings that have long been hidden.
The story of the characters is at the same time the main theme of the novel and the background that distinguishes the other events.
I dearly recommend it.

I'm afraid if I listen to my heart once, I'll never figure out how to ignore it again.

ps. I'm sorry if something is incorrectly written. I'm Polish but i wanted to write a little something in english. Hope you enjoyed this article.
