Hey guys! This article will be specifically about 90s urban fashion. If you were looking for a more grunge look, then this article is not the one.
Hope you guys enjoy!!!

1. Colorful baggy windbreakers

A store with great vintage windbreakers is Frankies collective. Jackets with patterns were also very big in the 90s. The most popular brands were Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Fila... ect.

2. Sweatshirts

fashion, style, and outfit image
This image doesn't really describe what I was looking for, but it is a baggy sweater. The best ones when going for a 90s look is one that is oversized and colorful and with a lot of patterns.

3. Nikes

nike, shoes, and air max image
Nike air max 1s, Nike air forces, Nike air max 90s, Nike air max 95s, Air jordan 1s are all iconic 90s shoes that were a big part of 90s culture.

4. Jean

aaliyah, tommy hilfiger, and 90s image
Jean was very big back in the 90s, especially overalls. Remember that when styling jean pants in a 90s look, it is important that they are baggy or loose.

5. Bandannas, scrunchies & lip gloss

tupac, 2pac, and legend image
These were very trendy accessories in the 90s.

6. Big Hair

Big curly hair was very popular in the 90s, but if your hair is not curly, you could always tease it!

7. Music

90's, music, and black boys image
My favorite artists are BBD, New Edition, TLC, Biggie, Tupac, Aaliyah, P Diddy, and more.. 90s music is very versatile and there is something for everybody. I will leave a link to my spotify 90s playlist below.

There you go guys!! That's mostly the basics of 90s urban fashion. The most affordable way to obtain 90s clothes is thrift shopping, stores like Goodwill and Savers usually contain some items. Sometimes, TJ MAXX could also be a store with great finds. If you don't like going to the store however, Frankie's Collective is a great vintage store. I will leave the link below.
