As you all know, Halloween is near. I really, really love Halloween, not only for the food, pumpkins, the orange and black decor, picking out the perfect costumes, eating dinner in a pumpkin and all the other festive activities that Halloween brings but even because the movies and series which follow this time. So in this article I will talk about movies or series you can watch to welcome this festive day.
1) Harry Potter (2001–2011)






You can watch the Harry Potter movies whenever you want but Halloween is the perfect time to begin this journey.
2) Hocus Pocus (1993)

This is a Halloween classic movie that many of us grew up to. For whoever that hasn't seen this one I do recommend it.
3) American Horror Story (2011-continuing)







American Horror Story is an American anthology horror series. Every season tells a different story with ghosts, witches, vampires and cults. For someone who loves some mystery, horror and drama you must definitely watch the series. You'll see that as you begin watching the first season you'll want more.
4) Edward Scissorhands (1990)

5) The Addams Family (1991)

I would watch this classic movie over and over again.
6) The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

The Nightmare Before Christmas (also known as Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas) is a 1993 American animated musical dark fantasy film. I've seen it and I find it quite enjoyable.
7) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (also known simply as Sweeney Todd) is a 2007 British-American horror movie. Well, equal parts entertaining and horrifying, Sweeney Todd is the perfect movie to watch this October. Watch it just once and you won’t be able to get the songs out of your head.
8) Corpse Bride (2005)

Corpse Bride is a 2005 British-American animated musical fantasy film directed by Mike Johnson and Tim Burton.
9) Scary movies 1,2,3,4,5 (2000-2013)




Scary Movie is a series of American horror comedy parody films. There are 5 film which are parodies of other mixed movies.
10) The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors


This is a list of Treehouse of Horror episodes produced by the animated television series The Simpsons. Treehouse of Horror episodes have aired annually since the second season (1990) and each episode has three separate segments. These segments usually involve the family in some horror, science fiction, or supernatural setting which are known for being more violent than an average Simpsons episode.
11) Hotel Transylvania 1&2 (2012-2015)

This may be a kid’s movie, but it’s entertaining for people of all ages. If you love classic monsters (like Frankenstein and Dracula) and fun movies, this is the Halloween movie for you.
12) Warm Bodies (2013)

Warm Bodies is a 2013 American paranormal romantic zombie comedy film. An unexpected love that you would never imagine. I love this one...
13) The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017)



The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural drama television series.
Well, there are a lot of seasons here, but hey it is worth watching...
14) Casper (1995)

Casper is a 1995 American live-action/computer-animated fantasy comedy film based on the Harvey Comics cartoon character Casper the Friendly Ghost. I really miss this movie, 'cause it is beautiful, cute and funny.
15) Twilight (2008)


And the last one is Twilight a 2008 American romantic fantasy film based on Stephenie Meyer's popular novel of the same name.
This is one of my favorite movies which I watch it once in a while as well as the following movies. It is followed by The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011)
AND The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012)
