Hey guys !

Here are 5 books that I strongly recommended you for rainy days and also during this lovely period that is Fall.
Hope you'll like them <3

1- Thirteen Reasons Why

I really enjoyed the series on Netflix, and I lately discovered that there was also a book. I really felt in LOVE with it... No jokes.

For those who don't know what's about, it's the story of Hannah Baker, a girl who killed herself because she has too much pain, and a lot was going on in her life... Says it like that, it does not say much but it's really a story that everyone should know. It senses us, and makes us understand a lot of things.

I think that the book was as good as the show, so that's why I recommended it to you. (go, go, read it)

2- Love Letters To The Dead

So, this is a novel that I would probably read again. It's a deep one, but very good.

Basically, it's all about 2 sisters. A simple editing requested by a teacher: write to a missing person. That's how the story start. Laurel chose Kurt Cobain, because his older sister May loved her. And that he died young, like May. If she never does her duty, the notebook of Laurel is filled with letters to Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger ... To these unexpected confidants, she recounts her first year of high school, her decomposed family, her new friends, her first love. But before writing to the only missing person who really cares for her, Laurel will have to confront the secret that torments her, and face what really happened the night May passed away.

Really good. Again, please, give it a try.

3- Looking for Alaska

This one, I really love it. I have to say, that John Green had put the hole package in this one. If you appreciated The Fault In Our Stars, you’ll certainly like this one.

It’s sooo much intense ! Really. The routing of the days, had make me felt so much. It truly affected me emotionally. I cried, I laugh and also like many other love story, I had butterflies in my stomach.

I really can’t say more. I don’t want to reveals you any spoils.. But Looking for Alaska, is a gift from the literature.

4- Everything, Everything

Such a cute novel ! An amazing story, and wonderful characters

A teen with a rare illness that compromises her immune system has spent her whole life in her house, with only her mother and her nurse for company. But when a boy moves in next door, she beings to question if her future has to have the same constraints as her past.

My little summary don’t say much, but the movie and the book as a real potential.

5- Eleanor & Park

The last one… I never read it but a lot of people have been telling me that’s it’s a such an incredible book.

I feel a bit, ashamed to had copied the summary of Goodreads, but I couldn’t inform you better :

Two misfits.
One extraordinary love.

Eleanor... Red hair, wrong clothes. Standing behind him until he turns his head. Lying beside him until he wakes up. Making everyone else seem drabber and flatter and never good enough...Eleanor.

Park... He knows she'll love a song before he plays it for her. He laughs at her jokes before she ever gets to the punch line. There's a place on his chest, just below his throat, that makes her want to keep promises...Park.

Set over the course of one school year, this is the story of two star-crossed sixteen-year-olds—smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try.
