I am very busy person and my life is sometimes one big mess. School, job, friends, housework... I feel upset and tired very often. And I think I'm not the only one. I bet you ever came home, sat on your bed, looked at the floor and just felt empty. Empty of energy, empty of feelings, you simply wanted to lay down and sleep. Of course we all have these bad days. But there are many things to do when you're out of happiness. Let's check them out!

eat your favorite snack: It always make me happy when I can eat something that I really like. For example I am popcorn lover, so eating popcorn help me increase my happiness.

call or text to your best friend: Friends are always here for us when we need them. Texting or calling with your best friend will definitely make you happier.

listen to your favorite music: Music is maybe the best stress killer of all time. Lay into your bed, close your eyes and get lost in a sea of beautiful tones.

go to sleep: Sometimes taking a nap is the best thing you can do. I never regret sleeping for few extra hours.

watch a film/series: Watching a movie or a series in the evening is my favorite activity. It always make me feel happy, because I can forget all my troubles for more than one and half an hour.

do yoga: Yoga makes beautiful bodies, that's for sure. But it can also help you to calm your mind.

hug your parents, show them love: Seeing my parents happy makes me feel happy. I love my mom's smile when I say "I love you" while walking through a living room.

go shopping, treat yourself: Don't be scared to go shopping alone. Buy some new clothes, accessories, book or something that will make you happy.

ask your friend to increase your mood: Nothing's easier than asking your friend to increase your mood. Your best friend usually know what to do to help you out of sadness

go to the cinema: I am huge popcorn lover. And for some reason, the "cinema popcorn" tastes so much better than the one that I make at home. And going to the cinema with my friends is great way how to spend free afternoon.

if you're really mad, scream to your pillow or throw with something soft (get that bad energy out of your body): I bet you ever wanted to scream to the world or throw with something against the wall. Well, that's maybe not the best thing to do, but if it's necessary, use your pillow.

eat something sweet: Sometimes we simply have a low sugar level. Eat a packet of chocolate cookies and your mood will be much better. Much, much, much better.

play with your pets: My pets are the best way how to increase my mood. I have one dog, three cats and three little kittens. Playing with them is my favorite part of the day.

read book that you really like: I love to come back to stories that enthralled me. I usually find my favorite parts of the book and I read them over and over again.

eat some delicious meal: When I'm hungry, I always have a bad mood. But after a good meal, I can be myself again! Especially warm food make me feel better.

take a long bath with oils or bath bomb: Usually when I get home in the evening, my body hurts and the only thing I want to do is go to sleep. But I never refuse having a long bubble bath. My muscles and my mind always feel better after that.

do your make-up and hairstyle (make yourself feel confident): People ask me very often why I wear make-up or why I care so much about my hairstyle. Well, because I want to look beautiful for myself. Self-love and confidence are really important.

wear comfortable clothes: Wearing clothes that doesn't fit me or wearing them just to look good never make me happy at all. I don't care if I look bad in my sweatshirt with Mickey Mouse, as long as I feel comfortable in it, nothing else matter.

clean your room (make it your favorite place): I can't be happy if my room is one big mess. That's why I always find time to clean it and make it my favorite place in the whole house.

stretch: When I'm doing a homework and I feel like I can't focus on it anymore, I always go and stretch. It is good for your body. Sitting all day is unhealthy, but if you add some stretching breaks into it, it will be fine.

do something that you really enjoy (draw, sing, go jogging, write poems...): Dancing in the mirror, singing in the shower. Doing things that you enjoy will definitely make you feel better. If you like to draw, than draw. If you like horse riding, than go and ride a horse. Find hobby that will make you feel happy.

watch sunset/sunrise: Have you ever stopped while walking and looked around you? Our Mother Nature is amazing. Watching sunset or sunrise will never bore me.

smile after you wake up: Someone told me few years ago that if I smile right after I wake up, my day will be more positive. I know it's hard... we're tired and we don't want to go to school or to work, but try it. It's worth it.

take a day off (forget all your problems for 24 hours): Take a day or two, where you do nothing important and just relax. Stress is not healthy and having breaks is necessary.

help your parents with cleaning house (no because you have to, but because you want to): Our parents are usually more busy than we are. Helping my mom with washing the dishes makes me feel better, because I know she's happy that she's not alone in it.

play your favourite game: What can really calm my mind and relax my feelings are games. I always have one or two games on my phone, for situations where I'm bored or have nothing else to do.

do something for your health: Do a workout, go for a walk, eat fruit, drink water… I always feel better (mentally and physically) when I do something that help to my body.

write down everything you have on your mind at the moment: Writing is one of my favorite things to do when I'm sad. Sometimes those negative words need to go out of our mind, it's up to you if you choose telling them to someone or writing them down on a paper.

watch funny videos on Youtube: Funny compilations never fail to make me laugh. Doesn't matter if it's animals, children or people falling on the ground.

watch your favorite artist’s videos: Looking at your idol will always make you smile. For example, I love Little Mix and I can spend whole day looking at their interviews and performances.

cry if you want to: There's no reason to be ashamed. Tears are good way how to deal with everything bad that lays on you. If you want to cry, go ahead. You'll feel better, trust me.

Life is a roller coaster. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. But remember, every kind of pain is temporary. Even the hardest minute in your life has only 60 seconds.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD, don't be shy to tell someone about your feelings.
Remember that life is too short to be sad. Enjoy every second (as it could be the last), don’t let stupid little things ruin your whole day. Our mood is just like the sky, sometimes rainy, sometimes full of sunshine. There are no stars without darkness. There is no rainbow without rain.
If there’s something you don’t like to do, just stop doing it. Go forward to what makes you happy, make priorities in life.
Don’t let people get you on your knees.
If they’re talking about your limits, don’t listen to them, because they are talking about their limits. Feel free to new adventures. Our life is about experiences.
You’re worth everything on the world.
You are part of our beautiful existence.
