I went for a drive through the hills today. Yes you do get some cautious drivers but the majority are relying on others to keep out of the way. A series of tight bends that you cannot see around and everyone is doing the speed limit. There is a gap between the opposing traffic lanes which at times is reduced to very little. If a car stopped ahead, around the bend, or an animal wandered onto the road, it could lead to a catastrophe. This possibility does not slow people down. Yes they are all somebody's someone but behind the steering wheel of a car they seem to share a common body of traits. It could be said that they are oblivious of a shared need for the road but instead are tuning in to their own needs almost exclusively. When a more popular system occurs only then will travel be safe.
