For those of you who don't know, I have created a 30-day challenge for myself. I will be posting an answer every day for the month of September to let my fantastic followers, and anyone else who is interested, know a little bit more about me! #WhiChallenge

Here's a link to my original article of all the questions I will be answering-

First of all, can you believe that I'm over halfway done with this challenge? I would just like to say a big Thank You to everyone who has decided to partake in this challenge as well. At the end of my 30 days, I will compile a list of everyone who has done even just the first question of my challenge. I understand it's hard to keep up with. I am grateful no matter how many questions you answer! Anyway, that's enough of that. Let's get back to the question!

If I could be good at any one thing, I would want to be good at writing. It's not that I think I am bad at writing right now, but rather if I could be truly extraordinary at anything I would want to be a writer. Think about it...

Writers can create whole worlds with just a pen, paper, and their imaginations. Makebelieve worlds now exist thanks to many writers such as J.K Rowling who created Harry Potter, Rick Riordan who wrote Percy Jackson, and Veronica Roth who imagined a world with factions in Divergent. Now, because of them, we know of a world of magical spells, wizards, and Butterbeer. We know about demigods, Mount Olympus, and an amazing couple known as Percabeth. We know that to live in a society, there needs to be characteristics of Amity, Candor, Erudite, Abnegation and Dauntless to form a whole. But what would a story be with only scenery?

Writers have the unbelievable ability to make you fall in love with characters that once only existed in their head. What would a world be like without Katniss, Augustus Waters, or Bilbo Baggins? They create character dynamics between heroes and villains, tragic backstories, and dangerous obstacles for the characters to get past. It was once said that a writer's characters are small pieces of themselves. Their hopes, hurts, losses, and dreams projected into imaginary people.

We cry and laugh because of the ingenuity that they put into words written on paper. The emotions that writers pull out of us seemingly against our will is a powerful magic. They connect us to the characters, relate to us in backstories, and let us dream of worlds beyond our imagination. Books are an escape. Writers hold the key.

That is why I would want to be great at writing.
