Since most of us are starting a new school year (or already started it), I found some tips that could help us stay happy and focused:

  • Always pay attention in class. This will spare you some time that you can use to do your chores or other activities.
  • Skip a class or two if you're feeling sad/depressed. Stay home and watch you favourite movie or put on your favourite playlist. It's okay to take some time for yourself... Your mental health always comes first.
  • Have a piggy bank in your room. This will save you some money you can spend on clothes, make up, trips, etc.
  • Go out with people whom you feel comfortable with. After all, college is meant to be a unique experience and you can always count on your friends to make it even more incredible.
