Let me just get straight to the point: I straight up just love colors. Of course, there are limits to my love for them; like bright colors such as yellow, bright orange, lime green and neon pink, make me flinch. I'm not very fond of simple colors either. But I love colors with very deep tones, like magenta, fuchsia and dark grey, they suit me better.

So maybe you're wondering, 'What are you making this article for then?'. You see, I'm not going to be talking about what colors I like and what colors I don't like, no, I'm gonna be talking about colors themselves. What they are, what they represent and what it could probably say about you (if it maybe was your favorite color).

In other words: I'm talking about what colors say and mean. Shall we?

What it represents:
The color red indicates strength and perseverance. It can improve the self-confidence of those who are shy or are in lack of willpower. The red color signals physical movement and gives us vitality. It can mean love and passion on the positive side, or revenge and anger on the negative side.

What it could say about you:
You are bold and want to make a lasting impression. Studies have also found that both genders are more attracted to a person in red than any other color. People whose favorite color is red are usually aware the effect it has, and are extroverted and confident enough to take advantage of it.

What it represents:
Blue is a cool and calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. It is also a color that symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. Blue is a color that generally looks good in almost any shade and it is a very popular color, especially among men. For your info, the color blue is my favorite color!

What it could say about you:
You are calm, cool, and able to keep things more even keel than most. Blue, the color of the ocean, is often associated with feelings of serenity, so those who love it are often able to find peace and tranquility in places where others do not. People who love to wear blue are said to be easy to get along with, reliable, and, for lack of a better word, lovable.

What it represents:
Green is the color of nature and health. It represents growth, nature, money, fertility and safety. The color green is a relaxing color that is pleasing to the eye and is said to have healing powers. It is often used to represent anything that has to do with health.

What it could say about you:
You are prone to putting lots of importance on money and security. Although you might think loving green means you love nature, according to color psychology, those who love green desperately want to feel secure in both their finances and relationships. To them, how they are viewed by others is their greatest concern, and they really want to be seen as a successful and an important person in their social circles. They're also social butterflies.

What it represents:
Purple combines the stability of the blue color and the energy of the red. Through the ages, purple has always been associated with royalty, nobility and prestige. The color purple can symbolize mystery, magic, power and luxury. Purple color meaning is often used to portray rich powerful kings, leaders, magicians and even sorcerers. Purple combined with gold can be flashy and portray wealth and extravagance. It gives the impression of something that is fun and easy to deal with.

What it could say about you:
You are a wee bit off, but it your own special way. People who are drawn to purple are sort of hippy-like in the way they impractically tackle the world with their utopian ideals. They tend to favor mysticism to reality, and prefer to see the world through violet-colored glasses in a way that can be difficult for those around them. (Which is me)

And that's all that I have. If none of your other favorite colors, including black, pink, grey, brown, etc, wasn't in here, I'm really sorry about that. I didn't exactly want this to be a really long and boring article, because I know not a lot of people read about colors (at least, that's what I think).

But anyway, thanks a lot for reading this if you did! With that being said, bye-bye~~~!
