tips and tricks for insomnia or sleep deprived teens like me:
-avoid naps, especially when you get home from school, sleeping at a set time at night helps you regulate your bodies clock
-cool your temperature: drink cold water, or set your thermostat to a cooler temperature.TNSF recommends a room temperature of 60 to 67 degrees (15 to 19 Celsius)
-listen to calm music: gather up a playlist of chill & relaxing music, and before you get ready for bed, play it in your room
-take deep breathes trough your diaphragm and exhale slowly, Repeat until your eyes feel heavy
-ASMR videos on youtube can help calm somebody down especially if its specifically for sleeping
-get out of bed if you can't sleep.Don't just lay there.Doctors say it's best to get out of bed & do something else like read or meditate
-revenge psychology can be a surprisingly powerful sleep aid, so try to stay awake for as long as possible and you'll begin to feel tired
-black out the room, a truly dark room will lead to much better sleep
-there are Melatonin pills you can find at drug stores that help control your sleep & wake cycles

if you feel like your condition is bad and none of these tips work, get medical attention
