Dear Younger Me,
So, here I am, sitting at my desk and overthinking my past. I'm wondering what could have happened when I knew years ago what I know now. That's why, dear younger me, I'm writting this letter to you.
Let's be honest .. I know you want a boyfriend, maybe even a future husband. I know you like this boy, but please listen to me. Listen to me when I say it's not worth the pain. Focus on yourself right now. Don't focus on the attention this boy gives you. Don't focus on the way he makes you feel. I know it seems good right now. But there will come a day where your heart gets broken and you'll regret anything. I know I sound mean to you, but I just want to show you it can be different. You don't have to give your heart away to every cute little face. You don't have to feel insecure and wonder if you'll ever be good enough for him.

I know, dear younger me, you start to feel guilty when I say all of this. But know it's okay. We as girls all made these mistakes. But it can start to change right now.

Let's Get Your Focus Back!
Let's focus on what makes us peacefully happy. Let's focus on what makes us smile. Let's make some art, let's travel, let's go shopping with friends, let's learn this new language, let's watch alle these movies, let's focus on our goals again. Let's focus again on what we believe in. Let's focus on what makes us feel alive again. I know you can do it, dear younger me.
