The soft and cold breeze
ran its gentle soft fingers
through my hair.
"Isn't it the middle of summer?",
I think to myself.

The whistle of a distant train
blows as it is no where to be seen.
The shine of the sun
is hidden behind the puffy
and white clouds.

Gibberish and loud happy cheers
come from the kids in the park,
they're laughing, something
I've done all my life

The grass is greener
than it could ever be.
The roar of a car engine
right behind my back
shuts off a minute later,
and then

everything went quiet
~ maybe even perfect ~
just for a split second.

I come to think
everyone is going on
with their daily lives
while a 13 year old
is thinking too much
she might explode...
