1, Tidy your work space - AHEAD OF THE TIME YOU PLAN TO STUDY - don't start tidying when you planned to study because you will just be putting off the studying until later...making you more stressed and pushing your work until the last minute...

2, Buy new stationary or find inspiration from 'study' boards on Pinterest/WHI -

this will (if you're like me) inspire you to work because you'll want to use your new books and pens...or recreate the pictures you have seen...

3, Keep a drink nearby - staying hydrated is key - over 70 percent of your body is made of water and the functions of the brain rely on it - so don't deprive your body of what it needs, if you drink too little water, you'll feel tired and you won't want to work.

4, Take breaks - its only natural for you to get bored of the work - so change it up, if you're bored of one subject, take a short break, leave the area that you are working in and relax. When you come back you could always start another subject; this means you're still being productive but not boring yourself with a subject you are tired of - come back to it later!

5, Write lists - write a list containing anything that is on your mind before you start studying, just so that you can get anything that is worrying you written down and out of your mind. Then write down what you would like to achieve: a list of tasks you have to complete, but don't stress yourself by setting times in which they should be done by, the list is only to put your thoughts onto paper so you don't have to worry about remembering the tasks you have to do...

6, Cross off completed tasks - even if you don't have an overwhelming number of tasks to remember, you should still write them down for the pure satisfaction of crossing them off of your list and knowing that you have completed it.

7, Reward yourself - if you have a good study session, treat yourself with some chocolate, or a movie...

9, Don't feel sorry for yourself -

It's so easy to get stuck in the mindset that it isn't fair that you have all this work to do, or that you should take a break because you deserve it...but the end result after all the hard work will be so rewarding and so worth it...don't feel sorry for yourself for having to work - consider yourself lucky that you have an education and all of these opportunities!

10, ACTUALLY STUDY AND DON'T JUST READ ABOUT IT... go and do it....

NOW!

Good luck!! :)
