Hi! This is a little list of movies that I saw and found amazing, in very different ways. Most of them just got stuck in my head for days and days, I couldn't stop thinking about them. They are of various kinds, I like diversity :)

1- Shutter Island by Martin Scorsese

This is honestly one of the best movie I've ever seen. You will never guess the end, and it just hit you in the face. It's a psychological thriller, with violent images sometimes, and a violent story in general. If you are quite sensitive, this may not be for you. But I am a little like this also, and I loved this movie. If you like thrillers and mind-fucking movies, just watch it. It will seriously worth your time.
Leonardo DiCaprio is just stunning in this movie. Everything is perfect, the rythm of the story, the way you get stuck to it and can't breathe when something is happening.
It is taken from a book, for whose who like reading.

2- Leon by Luc Besson

I never cried that hard in front of a movie. The characters are really touchy, Nahalie Portman is amazing, just as Jean Reno. A story about a professional killer, that take care of a little girl whose parents have been killed. Quite simple, but it really worth seeing.

3- Into the Wild by Sean Penn

I'm a vagabond soul that dreams of discovering the world and its beauty, and this movie is just perfect for people like this. It is the story of a guy who has everything, money, opportonity to study in a prestigious school. But he decide to give everything he has to charity and leave alone to go to Alaska. An amazing movie about traveling, meeting new people, human relationship and kindness.

4- Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aronofsky

Many of you have probably seen it already. The most shocking movie I've ever seen. It haunted me for days and days. The realisation is perfect, you feel eveything the characters feel, you get addicted with them, you sweat with them, cry with them. Just perfect but really hard to see.

5- Mr. Nobody by Jaco van Dormael

A beautiful movie about life, and all the different lives we could have depending on our choices. I found it really inspiring, and I love Jared Leto in it.

6- Sucker Punch by Zack Snyder

I can't really explain why I loved this movie. But I've seen it so many times, I can't get bored of it. Actually, the scenario has many incoherences, some stuffs are left unexplained. From the realisation and scenaristic point of view, it is clearly not the best movie I've seen. But I don't know. The atmoshpere of the movie, the characters, the music that is really incredible, made me love this movie so much. Just take it as it comes, get lost in it, and maybe magic will work.

There is an American and a Swedish version of this really famous book (that I still haven't read sadly, it's on my list). Anyway, both versions are really interesting, the story is amazing, just know that the Swedish version has 3 movies (they follow the books) starring Noomi Rapace and the American one only has one movie, starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig. This movie hasn't changed my life, but almost ;)
