Having a morning routine is one of the most important steps to being productive and feeling good! Everyone's routine will be different, but here's a look at what mine looks like as a full time college student online!

Wake Up Early(er)

I know how tempting it is to sleep until noon, TRUST ME. But if you wake up and get your day started early you'll feel better.
I'm not saying you have to wake up at 6am everyday, my goal is usually before 9 (and I'm going to start to get earlier and earlier as time goes on). Pick whatever works for you!
When I wake up a usually just get a bottle of water, lay on the couch, and watch tv until I feel woken up.

Skin Care Routine

It is SO important to have a good skincare routine. I'm not going to go into detail about mine on this post, but I will make an article about it another time. Make sure you're washing, toning, and moisturizing everyday! Not only is it good for your skin, but it will help you wake up and feel better.

Get Something Done

After I do my skin care routine, brush my teeth and hair (and do your hair/makeup if you'd like!) I go and make my bed. I like for my bed to be made, but I feel like getting things done right away will set you up for a good day. Next, I get a big cup (preferably a Yeti or Ozark Trail cup) and fill it with iced lemon water. It's so refreshing!
Then, I sit at my desk or on the couch and I respond to emails, do school work, write.. whatever! Just do something other than watch TV or surf the internet.

Breakfast

There is a a reason breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Point blank; you have to eat breakfast if you want to set yourself up for a good day. Eating healthy from your first meal on will help to keep you on track for a day of good eating.

This is the last thing I mentioned because I do intermittent fasting, which is where you fast for 16 hours (from 8pm to 12pm for me) and then get all of your calories within your "eating time". So, put this in wherever it fits in your morning. If you want to eat as soon as you wake up, do it. If you want to wait until after you've done your skincare, go ahead!
Just eat breakfast!
