Hey guys, hope you all are a doing okay! I thought maybe I could help out some fellow book readers with some book recommendations. This list is a list of my favourite books/ series with a super mini description to go with them. No spoilers I promise but I will be sharing my favourite things about the book and basically why I love them.
-A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
Its a trilogy about a human girl who ends up in the Faerie Realm called Prythian and the books are basically about her adventures there.
THIS SERIES IS A MUST READ!!! I love the writing style so much Sarah J Maas is amazing. You get to know all the characters in such detail like you will fall in love with characters instantly or feel a burning hatred towards others, it's great. The plot is also, totall amazing. You will not see anything coming. It's like bombshell after bombshell, it's great.
-Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
The book is about a girl who's family was killed so she becomes an assassin basically. It's totally badass. The world the book is set in is described so well you won't have any trouble imagining it. The characters are great and even the writing style is great. It's a bit of a mature read. Definitely a YA book instead of Teen but it's worth it. It's a bit gory and might not be for everyone though
-Six of Crows series by Leigh Bardugo
It's about a bunch of criminals pulling off the heist of a lifetime basically. Another badass book. I mean, obviously it's more than just another heist book. The characters are troubled and you'll love them especially because you get to read from each of their perspectives. The setting is horrible but so well written and vivid and understanding the setting really helps you understand the characters and their motives better. I honestly love these books
-Windwitch by Susan Dennard
It's set in a world of magic where everyone is classified by what they can do basically and the main character's magic is really rare and it causes problems for her. It had started a little too slow for my liking but trust me when it picks up, it PICKS UP. The characters are relatable and interesting and the writing style is very descriptive and boy oh boy the plot. This is a great read
-The Heist Society Series by Ally Carter
This series is a bit older than the others I mentioned before but it's basically about a girl who was raised as a thief and the heists she and her tea pull off. Its a trilogy and they are my all time favourites. I re-read them all the time. You will fall in love with characters left, right, and centre. And the plot leaves on the edge of your seat holding your breath. The writing style is descriptive and easy to follow. It's All Carter, she's great
So those are a couple of my favourites! I hope you like them too.
ps- sorry my article doesn't look visually appealing, I'm still figuring this out
