What about the self doubters
Who love their bodies
But don't know what it's good for
Who get told they're pretty
But feel like a wreckage inside
Self insecurities rise to the scene
Easily observed
Daily talked about
We want to help people feel good about their bodies
But what of their abilities
What of the more subtle
More hidden battles
What of those
Who were never good enough
Never smart enough
Or so they thought
Enough I say
Of minding the body and mind
But neglecting the soul
Let us start addressing more than our freckles and thighs
Though it's important to
Maybe have concern too
For the hearts that feel like failures
For the voices afraid of being wrong
For we have been wrong for forgetting them
