So I've seen many school lunch ideas and EVERY one of them actually weren't that healthy. That's why I decided to give you people few ideas for a nice school/ college/work snack. But let me give you few tips first.

  • Some snack preparations take a bit of your time so make sure you give yourself enough time to make these.
  • Have a container prepared (I try not to use plastic ones, I mostly use jars and if you also choose to use them make sure they are well closed and secured in your bag)

So here we go:

A simple rice milk,semolina or overnight oats will do it. Fresh fruit or even dried one will give you the ultimate nice fulfilling meal.

It's the simplest thing to bring with you if you don't have time as you most probably overslept. ;D

3.A fruit salad
A very refreshing snack that can boost your concentration as it won't be heavy for your tummy.

4.Nuts & peanut butter
If you need something to boost your brain cells peanut and other nuts are a good way to go. PB&B sandwich (cover) is a good way to go too if you don't have enough time on your hands.

Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion, toast cubes, chicken, carrot ...basically whatever you want.
You just need to toss it in a container and you're good to go. An easy dressing I always make for salad : a pinch of salt, two tablespoons of olive oil and a spoon of aceto balsamico. Just make sure you put it in a different container (I use small jar) as your salad will get soggy if you put it right away and eat it later.

6.A smoothie
Smoothie is always a good way to go. Along with coffee and tea.

7.Bread sticks
They are healthy as long as you don't go overboard with the amount. I love the ones with olive oil salt and rosemary. You can even make them if you can't find any in your local store.

8.Lunch or dinner leftovers
Many may argue that so not cool, but for one don't care. Imma enjoy my spinach with potato from last night with delight along with my healthy bod.

I personally love yogurts, but the downfall of having them as a snack for me is that I love them cold, but if you have a way to keep them cold or if you can stand the taste of tepid yogurts that HOORAY for you. :)

10.Last but not the least dessert
I'm sure that even you are aware that sweets don't have to be bad for you as long as you consume them in reasonable amounts. So yes bring yourself a few cubes of dark chocolate, make yourself a healthy version of muffins with fruit and oats, carrot cake or even m&ms. Just make sure you don't go overboard.
