Since there was so much feedback on my last traveling article (https://goo.gl/HU7dw6), I thought it would be helpful to write another article about it. In the previous post, I'd mentioned packing lists. Pack lists are often referred to when talking about travel but aren't explicitly described, so here's the best list I could come up with. Follow this as
a check list before traveling anywhere!

Toiletries

  • Toothpaste and toothbrush
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Shaving cream and razer
  • Body wash/lotion
  • Soap
  • Towel(s)
  • Makeup (anything necessary)
  • Face wipes / cleansers
  • Hair care/product and accessories
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Glasses or contacts and solution
  • Any dental equipment
  • Other bathroom/vanity items you might need

Clothes

  • 1 outfit per day, at minimum
  • Extra shirts/pants if you think you'll want to change during the day
  • Extra underwear (trust me, you'll want extras)
  • Pajamas
  • Hoodie (or jacket if it's cold)
  • Weather based items (ex: sunglasses or a winter hat)
  • Appropriate shoes, at least 2 pairs
  • Any other specific clothes you'd need

Miscellaneous

  • Sunscreen, bug spray, etc
  • Keys and ID/driver's license
  • Money / credit card
  • Maps
  • Other papers you might need
  • Equipment (sports, work)
  • Chargers
  • Electronics + headphones
  • Something to do on the trip (like a book to read or laptop to watch tv)
  • Snacks and water

Carry On - Flying

  • If you're flying, you definitely want a carry on bag with important items! This could be your boarding pass, wallet and ID, book to read, water, etc.

Closing: Hopefully this helps you feel more prepared when it comes to packing for trips! Note that this is a general list to guide you, and you may need to add in or remove items from your personal one. Also, for items on the list that say "or" and "/", note that those items are interchangeable and some people have different ones, but they're still a must pack (like glasses and/or contacts)! Now have a nice, stress-free experience next time you're preparing for a trip. For more tips, check out my account!
