Hey guys this is my first article so bear with me grammar might be off words might not make sense but I tried and there's no where but up from here right?!
I decided that my first article should be something that I myself could use some advice on. I wanted to write about this topic because I wanted to share with you guys that not everyone knows what is going on. If you're like me, you are on the verge of making your next step in the journey we like to call life. Whether it be leaving elementary school, middle school, high school, or even college (like me, yeah I'm old I know...) you are scared or excited (lucky you) about what life has in store for you. I have 3 tips (just 3 little tips) if you....ya know...wanna check them out. You totally don't have to but I would love you if you did ♥

So, I'm leaving college and I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do next and the options and opportunities are actually kind of intimidating. I'll be sitting in class and I hear everyone talking about their plans and I kind of get sad because I constantly feel like I'm behind everyone else. I constantly have to keep telling myself that everyone's journey is different and that I shouldn't let comparison steal my joy. I say that because if I am constantly comparing myself I would literally never be happy and that is absolutely no fun...at all. I just have to learn to trust myself and know that I will figure everything out and I will totally crush whatever obstacles get in the way of my awesomeness!

People can be annoying, trust me girl I know but don't push them away. I learned this the hard way because now it seems like I am constantly holding auditions for Atlanta's Next Top Friend (so if you're a cool ass chick and you live in the Atlanta area hit me up girl, we can hang!) Another thing I learned about people, besides the fact the possess the ability to STAY on your nerves, is that they always want to know what you're next move is. If I here the question "Sooo...what are you gonna do after _______?" one more time I just might scream. Constantly getting asked that question can really dampen your mood. Its kinda like the episode of SpongeBob when he forgets everything and he can't find the files he needs in his brain which causes all hell to break loose. Its stressful, and if you have ever been in that situation you know exactly what I'm talking about. BUT don't shut down I have the perfect answer! Next time just say "I'm not really sure at the moment, but I am exploring my options" (Cue fireworks and victory music cause I just saved the day!) When you say that people get impressed and might even have opportunities to present to you. I hate to say it but PEOPLE=OPPORTUNITIES. So get out there and mingle and don't be afraid girl, work on it together because Lord knows I am not a people person.

I find myself stressing out about my next year and what the heck I'm gonna do. I swear I ask myself one question after another and I literally don't give myself to answer the questions. After doing this my brain is fried, and I mean like completely fried like Thanksgiving turkey fried....$5 big box at Popeye's fried...y'all get the point right? ANYWAY back to the point. I do this until I am mentally exhausted and probably on the verge of a breakdown (which isn't healthy). I say all this to say that my brain needs a break and so does yours...so stop worrying, grab a blanket, get your favorite device, open up your favorite app (we heart it obviously), and scroll away. I don't know about you but I love using we heart it as a fantasy life, like if i had all the money in the world what would i do, what would I wear, what would I drink, where would I live and it is genuinely fun for me because I get to escape the crazy life I call my reality. So chill out and scroll on girlfriend! Everything will be fine and you will figure it out, I PROMISE!
