What to Wear

If you go to a private school you may want to skip over this section

I recommend wearing something nice. Dress for success. Never go into the first day of school wearing a sweatshirt and pajama pants. You want people to get a good impression of you. Right? I personally think some good ideas would be wearing a nice dress or a skirt with a shirt and a sweater. And if you think less is more like me, I would wear a nice sweater with black strechies and retro adidas.

What to Bring

Obviously you need the basics, binders, pencils, notebooks, pencil case, blah blah blah...

If you really want to impress your peers, you need some SERIOUS back candy. I recommend getting a backpack from Amazon or Primark, maybe even Kmart. NEVER Target. By doing so, your backpack will be more unique, and they'll be less of a chance someone else will have it.

Hair

I personally like my hair down, because I feel it gives people the chance to really get a feel for what you look like. But just so you get the option, I will show some ideas!

Makeup

I do not like makeup personally. I think it just doesn't look good on people. I also don't like it because the last time I wore it I broke out in hives... but, that's besides the point. Anyways, I think less is more. so instead of wearing mascara, buy an eyelash curler! It saves you a boat-load of money (and it doesn't suck to take it off). Instead of lipstick, buy a lip tint! Instead of wearing bright blue eyeshadow from your Shany pallet, wear a nice light color your Naked pallet!

What to Eat

Not only is this the most important item on this list, what you eat determines how your whole day will go. For example, if you didn't eat any breakfast then for lunch you brought a hot pocket and a twinkie, and you have a huge exam afterward... how do think you would do? That's why you should always eat breakfast. Even if it's just a banana. And you should always pack a healthy lunch. I think a healthy lunch should include: fruits, vegetables, protein, and water. That way you get all the nutrients you need for the day as well as a healthy mind!

Extra Tips and Tricks <3

  • After you wake up, be sure to stretch. I know it sounds silly but it really makes you feel rejuvenated and ready for the day.
  • To make school life easier, I recommend downloading Quizlet and Audible. They have helped me A LOT.
  • Always stay positive. Negativity is never the answer!
