Summer is fading and school is starting again. It is no secret that many of us are struggling to get back to our everyday lives. Despite that the days are getting darker and the air is getting cooler, I find fall the most breathtaking part of the year. However, I know that the autumn-days can feel a little lonely and tiring, so I am here to help you to feel the beauty of this season.

Draw a line

When school starts it is easy to let it take over your life with all its´ essays that has to be written, all the homework that has to be done and all of the tests you have to study for. School is and will continue to be important, but try to separate school and your spare-time by working hard while you are actually at school. Do not let school invade your mind in the afternoon. Finding yourself a study-buddy for after school might help to get your work done faster and even make it more fun.

Enjoy the natures´ miracles

My very best tip to enjoy the fall, is as simple as leaving your phone in your pocket. It is so easy to grab your phone at any given moment just to pass time. I dare you to look around the next time your are walking outside, and if you are not impressed by the beautiful colors, the fresh and cool autumn-air as well as the light rain that shines like pearls in your hair, you would be the only one that exists. Paying attention to the beauty of nature will for sure give you a wonderful feeling.

Feel the rain

Rain is one of the things that many people hate about fall. If you are one of them, you know how much a real rainfall can ruin your day, not to mention your hair. However, imagine what a difference it would make if you could change the way you feel about the rain! The next time it is raining, bring an umbrella to avoid getting wet, but then enjoy the weather. Listen to the soft sound of the rain hitting your umbrella, smell the sweet and clean air as you feel the soft, cleansing feeling of rain on your skin. Rain is refreshing and another beautiful thing about fall. Learn to love it!

Home is where the heart is

There is nothing like cuddling up in your favorite seating while having a big cup of newly brewed coffee, hot chocolate or your favorite tea with some honey. Light some candles with your favorite scents, get yourself a blanket, cuddle up and just relax. Wether you like to read a book or listening to music, having a little me-time once in a while is important to a tired body. Having a headache or feeling tired and lonely? Take your time to just exist and try to open up a window; the fresh air can do wonder-works.

Fall is for friends

Lastly I would like to presist the importance of spending time with your friends. A friend can come in handy if you want to have some fun or if you just need a little pick-me-up after a long day. Call a friend at least a few times a week. If you don´t feel like talking, watching your favorite TV-show in their presence can be the perfect way to relax and strengthen your relationship at the same time. Nothing compares to close friends in a time where things can feel a little though. So with other words, socialize yourself. That is my last advice.
