I'm a big fan of love movies, even though a lot of them are really idealized and not really like real life, I think they make us believe a little more in the power of love. And why does everything has to be so realistic? I think it's important do dream sometimes as well. I'm sure there are other amazing ones, but from the romance movies I've watched, these are the ones I love the most:
Pretty Woman (1990)

This classic is about the love between a bussinessman and a prostitute. It is my absolute favorite, it's a very lovely and happy movie. I really love Vivian's (the main character) personality and simplicity, the innocence and sweetness of their love, and the chemistry they have. Another reason for me to love this movie even more is the fact that it is set in the beautiful Los Angeles.
Love, Rosie (2014)

This is an extremely beautiful and sensitive movie about friendship, decisions and love. It tells the story of two inseparable best friends that grew up always being there for each other and sharing beautiful moments together, and how their relationship goes over time. The pure and inconditional love that they feel for each other is precious. Another thing I really love on the movie is its soundtrack, with songs that go from Lily Allen's "Fuck You" to the classic "I'm Confessin'" by Peggy Lee.
About Time (2013)

A very romantic movie, that mixes romance with a little bit of science fiction, since the main character discovers he can get back in time and change his actions, and decides to use that power to try to win the woman of his dreams. Not only this is a beautiful movie, but it also carries a beautiful message: that every moment in our lives is important and that we should live every day intensely.
Leap Year (2010)

This one is about a woman that decides to propose marriage to her boyfriend on Leap Day, because, according to the Irish tradition, a man who receives a marriage proposal on a leap day must accept it. But on her way to Dublin she meets a man that can make her think differently. This is a really sweet and funny movie, it's just one of those movies that make you smile and laugh over almost every scene. The Ireland photography is also really amazing.
Serendipity (2001)

The story of two strangers that meet one day in a holiday in NYC, instantly get along and feel something for each other. They are both in a relationship, but decide to spend their night together. When the night ends, the guy suggests that they give each other's numbers, but she denies, and says that if they're suposed to be together, destiny should make their paths cross again. What I really love about this movie is the whole destiny thing, and how it can make things happen in our lives. I think it's a very poetic and beautiful movie, and the Manhattan scenario just makes it even more beautiful.
