I'm not entirely sure what we've done to make the world such a hateful place, but I do know what we could do to fix it. Dream of a place where everywhere you turned someone was smiling at you, and you could be yourself unapologetically without fear of judgement. Dream of a place where every time you woke up you smiled at how positively brilliant your life is.

What if, instead of sitting around and wishing the world was a better place you started making the world a better place. What if you were the person who smiled at strangers everywhere you went. What if you let people open up to you without making them feel as if anything they could have done would make you dislike them. What if you woke up one day and smiled at how positively brilliant you could make the world.

There's this strange thing I tend to notice about people. Instead of making their dreams occur, they often to sit around and linger over them. So here's a message I have for all the indisputably delightful people that I believe can make a difference: Please be the person you want to see in the world. Don't let today's dreams be washed away in yesterday's to do list.

After all, the world lies in the hands of those who have the courage to dream, and take the risks of living them out.
