London is one of my favourite places on earth and I've had the chance to visit it this summer. Well, I truly fell in love with it.

One of the best part of this city is surely the Big Ben, which is actually the name of the biggest bell of the clock of the House of Parliament's most famous tower. I loved when every hour o'clock the bell articulated the hour with big BONGS.

My favourite thing to do when I was in London was walking across the streets. There are many interesting and very characteristic little streets and my personal favourite was Carnaby street

London is full of squares too, which are very big and crowdy and full of street performers who show their talents like drawing, singing or just... hugging! My favourite square was Trafalgar Square, which is dedicated to the battle of Trafalgar and has a high column with a statue of Horatio Nelson at the top and four big lions at the bottom; there are also two beautiful fountains on the sides of the square

In Trafalgar Square there's also the National Gallery in which you can see lots of famous paintings such as "Sunflowers" by Van Gogh

If you are more keen in modern art instead, you should visit Tate Modern. You won't be disappointed!

These are the things I've enjoyed the most of my trip.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you've enjoyed my article :)
