You guys, fall is in 25 days. I repeat, 25 days. It is already starting to feel like it in my part of the world and I couldn’t be more excited. Fall is definitely my favorite season with the leaves changing and all of the cozy vibes. I always feel so inspired in the fall time just by going outside and taking in the fall air or curling up in a chair with a coffee and a book. With that said, it’s time to start racking up on fall essentials so we’ll be ready to kick off the best time of year and enjoy it to its fullest potential.

Ok so you had to know that this one is a must. I pretty much keep a candle burning at all times, especially in the morning. There is nothing like waking up, throwing on some slippers, brewing some coffee, lighting a candle and reading my bible. Best. Morning. Ever. That’s how I know it’s going to be an awesome day. Two of my favorite places to get candles are, of course, Bath & Body Works and Kirklands. Bath & Body Works can be a little pricy, so try a Kirklands. Their candles smell amazing and they are often on sale. I got my last candle there for $5, which is an awesome deal. Regardless, life’s too short, burn your candles.

Soft Blanket

Everyone must have their favorite blanket, right? I mean if not, what are you doing with your life? Last year for Christmas, my brother got me the softest little blanket ever. I’m pretty sure that he even got it from Hobby Lobby for under $20 so that’s even cooler. I seriously never take that thing off when I’m at home. Not even in the summer, which sounds pretty crazy but it just feels that good. Ok I lied, I do take it off to eat because if I dropped anything on it, I would actually be devastated. It’s definitely one of those blankets that if you had to wash it, it would just never be the same again. You know the ones I’m talking about. Maybe I’m being a little dramatic, maybe not but bottom line: go getcha a fuzzy blanket.

New Book Lineup

If nothing else seemed that ‘essential’ to you so far, this one is definitely it. I don’t know about you, but there is something so satisfying to me about getting completely lost in a book or even just simply browsing around a book store. You can find me in the self-help or psychology section. I’m not crazy I swear but I get such motivation and a certain high when reading this genre. I like fiction as well. A couple of my favorite books are: “The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fu*k” by Mark Manson and “You Are a Badass” by Jen Sincero. I could never find the words to express my love for these two books. I could honestly read them over and over because of the intense amount of inspiration that they give me to completely just kick ass. In fact, I have read “You Are a Badass” at least 5 times, not even kidding and I never lose that feeling. Even if you don’t particularly like to read, there are audio book options as well. So no excuses, read a book.

Fall Wardrobe

What is fall without leggings and baggy sweaters? Correct, nothing. It is like the ultimate most comfortable season ever and trust me, I take full advantage of that. I’m not a super “fashun qween” I will admit, but honestly you can never go wrong with leggings and a big sweater. Boom, style. Need I say any more? I don’t think so.

Netflix & Bath Bombs

Please tell me I’m not the only person that could sit in a bubble bath for hours with a candle burning, some Oreos and a mini theatre set up to watch Netflix (aka a chair and my laptop). No? Ok. If I ever needed an intervention for something, it would definitely be this. Probably one of my favorite things to do when it starts getting cooler outside. A couple of my current favorite shows that I would definitely recommend for your fall Netflix Binge list would be: Girlboss, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Quantico, and Young & Hungry. And if you need a quick laugh, just watch The Office. I mean, you literally can never go wrong with The Office. As far as bath bombs go, Lush all the way. But let’s get real, who can afford a $8 bath bomb? Not me. But when you can spare a few dollas, treat yoself girl, you deserve it.

Thank you so much for reading. You are amazing, you are beautiful, & you are loved ❤ Happy almost fall 🙂

With love, Danielle
