English isn't my first language so I want to apologize in advance for weird sentence structures or grammar mistakes in this article and ones that I might write in the future. I am trying my best though ღ

One of my biggest interests is travel. The world is filled with wonderful spots to see and cities to explore. Unfortunately I did not get to see as many places as I'd like to so far but I do hope that some day I will be able to see at least a small percentage of the beautiful places this world has to offer.

Growing up I spent a lot of my summer holidays in Italy with my family and I fell in love with the country and the language. We always went to the south and it had completely stolen my heart. So it was beyond perfect to me when I got the chance to go to Florence with my class from high school and finally got to see some of the north of Italy. We went to Florence for about nine days but also visited cities and towns like Siena, Pisa, Volterra and San Gimignano. It was such a great trip. Not only because it was the first time I went somewhere without my parents but obviously also because I had never seen the north of Italy, only the south. The landscape, the architecture, the art, the food, it all was breathtaking and I will never forget how we walked through the little Tuscan towns, exploring the small streets away from the tourist spots and had lunch in small restaurants. Seeing works of art from da Vinci, Michelangelo or Botticelli was indescribable and I cannot put into words how happy I am that we chose to go to Tuscany for this class trip. I recommend this region to everyone, especially everyone who loves art, museums and beautiful landscapes, there are plenty of museums with incredible art and wonderful views over the hills of Tuscany with its small towns on top of them. These towns are definitely worth a visit but so are the bigger cities, especially Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance.

Thanks for reading my first article and I hope you enjoyed it and didn't consider it boring. I also want to thank everyone who follows me, it means a lot to me that you like my collections. I wish everyone a great day ~ Karina ღ

P.S.: The cover photo shows San Gimignano. I took this photo on our trip there ღ
