While the inexorable rise of global warming may have you thinking we’re living in an endless summer, fall is, in fact, right around the corner.
With the arrival of autumn, brand new movies will be coming out, but with so many choices it can be paralyzing to figure out what’s actually worth your while. You don’t want to waste good popcorn on bad movies, after all. So here are 10 movies which I think will be worth watching...

1) IT

IT is an upcoming American horror film based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name. The film tells the story of seven children in Derry, Maine, who are terrorized by the eponymous being, only to face their own personal demons in the process.
IT is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 8, 2017.

2) Home Again

Home Again is an upcoming American romantic comedy film.
It stars Reese Witherspoon, Nat Wolff, Jon Rudnitsky, Pico Alexander, Michael Sheen and Candice Bergen. The film tells the story of Alice Kinney, a single mom living in Los Angeles whom her life change unexpectedly when she allows three young men to move in with her.
The film is scheduled to be released on September 8, 2017.

3) Mother!

Mother! is an upcoming American psychological horror film written and directed by Darren Aronofsky, and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
There’s a whole lot of mystery surrounding writer/director Darren Aronofsky’s mother! at the moment – including, why its title is written that way and what the movie is even about to begin with.
The plot follows a young woman whose tranquil life with her husband at their country home is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious couple.
The film is scheduled to be released on September 15, 2017.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is an upcoming action spy comedy film. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is based on the comic book of the same name, created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar...
Plot: The agents of Kingsman head to the United States to join forces with Statesman, Kingsman's American counterpart, after Kingsman's headquarters is destroyed by "The Golden Circle".
The film stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges, and is scheduled to be released in the UK on 20 September 2017 and on 22 September in the US.

5) The Foreigner

The Foreigner is an upcoming English-language spy action thriller film based on the 1992 novel The Chinaman by Stephen Leather.
Plot: Quan (Jackie Chan) is a humble London businessman hunting down the terrorists who murdered his daughter — and the government official (Pierce Brosnan) who may be protecting them.
Judging by the trailers, Chan continues to kick more ass at age 63 than most people half his age, which is worth the price of admission in and of itself.
The film is scheduled for release in China on 30 September 2017 and in the United States on 13 October 2017.

6) Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor
Finally, the Marvel cinematic universe is letting its hair down and getting weird. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor teams up with the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in Taika Waititi’s intergalactic adventure, which appears to have been visually inspired by the side of a spray-painted van.
Plot: Thor must defeat the Hulk in a gladiatorial duel in time to save Asgard from Hela and the coming Ragnarök.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins. Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 3, 2017.

7) Justice League

After Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, it’s understandable if you’re a little hesitant about Justice League.

Justice League is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name.
In Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team consisting of Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
The film is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017.


Temporarily removed

The third Star Wars movie trilogy continues this December with Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. The movie will be released on December 15, 2017.

Murder on the Orient Express is an upcoming American mystery film directed and co-produced by Kenneth Branagh. The screenplay by Michael Green is based on the 1934 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie.
The film stars Branagh as Hercule Poirot, with Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley.
It is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2017 by 20th Century Fox.


Dwayne Johnson, jack black, and kevin hart image

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is an upcoming American action adventure film.
A sequel to Jumanji (1995), the film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale.
Plot: When cleaning out a school's basement while serving detention, four teenagers find a vintage video game version of Jumanji and get sucked into its jungle setting. They also become their avatars inside the game and the only way out is to play along and finish it.
It is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2017.
