This Depends on the texture of your notebook
you can:
- stick a paper on the cover and write your name on it
- draw on the cover
- stick pictures or prints on the cover
- add sticks and washi tape

Calligraphy
Calligraphy is very popular within the studying community so a lot of people use it in their bullet journal
you can use a highlighter, brush pen, marker, calligraphy pens or dip pens if you're a pro
calligraphy can be used to make titles, header and maybe writing quotes in your Bujo
Themed Spreads
- aesthetic themed spreads (nature or space)
- color themed spreads
- artist themed spreads
washi tape, highlighters, sticky notes, and prints are great for making pretty spreads
Sticky Notes
you can use sticky notes for decor and functionality (not the right word ik)
some uses:

Misc. Decor
you can decorate your journal with tickets, badges, flower, receipts and other stuff you have lying around, it gives your journal a personal feel and record memories.

- wrap washi tape at the edge of your monthly spread to easily find it
- cut out articles or pictures from magazines and stick them on your journal
