Hi everyone!

Thanks for tuning in again. It's okay to feel like you want to give up sometimes, but you have to stay strong. If not for yourself, then for the people who care about you. I am incredibly thankful to feel so much happier and stronger now, in comparison to how overwhelmed and lost I have felt in the past.

"Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive."
― Elbert Hubbard

It's the darkest force that, if I let it, will keep me from growing into my full potential. The side of me that has me worried about literally everything, non-stop. The side of me that doesn't believe I am capable of achieving the life I want for myself, because I am not a normal person and it's simply too hard.

The worst thing about living with anxiety, is that it's so hard for other people to understand. That is what makes us feel so alone, misunderstood and isolated.

But in the end, we are all in charge of our own happiness. This is the main thought that always keeps me going when things get though. I have to keep pushing myself to step out of my comfort zone, because that's the only way for me to become stronger and more confident.

Your mind is so powerful. It can literally shape your reality. So, let's work with that, shall we?

Over the years, my anxiety has helped me become more self-conscious. I have found ways to increase my happiness and decrease self-destructive thinking habits.

This is how I felt when I was a teenager! Not the best outlook on life...

A few examples of what really helps me to calm my mind, keep working on becoming a better person and enjoy life to the fullest:

  • Take morning walks, or meditate.
  • Don't take yourself (or life) too seriously.
  • Read.
  • Develop a growth mindset.
  • Don't focus on others, focus on your own personal development instead.
  • Use WHI to inspire and stimulate yourself to be the best you can be!

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company - a church - a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... We are in charge of our attitudes.”
― Charles R. Swindoll
