To be honest, at first, I didn't think the weheartit article feature was for me. "I'm too old", I thought. Too normal, too busy. Don't get me wrong, I've had a blog in the past. I've been part of a community of amazing boys and girls who shared my interest for writing, characters and life stories. Then college took up all of my time, the community broke off and everyone sort of went their separate ways. Me? I moved to another country. All of a sudden, I had to speak another language, meet people who were different from the ones I had always known, eat food that tasted weird to my palate and do things I had never expected to be doing. It has shaped the person I am right now and made me as happy as I've ever been. But it has also turned me into what I think is an adult — with a lot of responsibilities. And although my liking for stories has never vanished, I can't really say I've had much time to write for my own pleasure, during these past couple of years. So I thought, here's my chance to do it. I'll try to share a few stories from across the pond. Maybe a few tips, if your goal is to move abroad, a few memories that I think expatriates could relate to, a few notes about how it feels, to be a stranger in a big, new city. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I don't know if you can comment yet, but don't be afraid to reach out. I'd love to hear from you guys. PS. This picture was taken in Yosemite, CA. A truly magic place.
