Dear Hearters,

If there's one thing I'm a fan of, it's eating healthy - sometimes. Yes, I put my hands up and say that I'm not shy of stuffing pizzas and biscuits whenever the temptation is there. But eating healthy cannot only help that body, but also your overall health, skin, nails, and hair.

What other persuasion do you need?

This is the basic outline for a healthy day;

Breakfast

DO NOT MISS YOUR BREAKFAST, MY FRIENDS!

  • Lemon Drink - one glass of water and 3 tbsps of lemon.
This sounds unnecessary but when wanting to lose weight, drinking this early in the morning can help your metabolism for the day.

After an hour eat from the following;

  • 2 apples
  • 2 oranges
  • 1/2 cup of nuts & almonds

Lunch

  • Pure Protein e.g. fish, chicken or dairy.
  • 1 container of Greek Yoghurt
  • 1 banana

Dinner (before 6)

  • Two hard boiled eggs
  • Green salad with slices of cucumber, olive oil, and a little salt.

After Dinner

  • 1 litre of green tea (4 cups)

So you don't have to follow this word for word, but as long as you stay in the guidelines you are most definitely on the right track.

LAST TIP: I know you hear this enough but DRINK WATER!, water will save your life. I try to drink 3 - 4 litres of water a day but 2 litres is the minimum and if water isn't your bestfriend then you can always infuse it with different fruits e.g. strawberies, lemons, blueberries etc...
